m(_ _)m *bowing apology*

I want to apologize to my readers for my lack of posts as of late. Life moves ever forward and mine is currently in utter turmoil. From a lack of sleep, the death of my pet goldfish Shinobu, being buried up to my eyeballs in manga that I've purchased, preferring to watch Kyo Kara Maoh! than reading, proofreading a story collection for Wapshott Press, and finally to a crippling bout of writers block my reviews seem to have come to a complete standstill. I'll sit down to write a review, find that I've put in too many spoilers, not explaining the story well enough, not conveying enough of my feelings, or just writing a steaming pile of crap I've found myself utterly exhausted. I've also found myself enjoying artbooks at this particular point in time. You get to enjoy beautiful art without being straddled with a poor story. The only downside is they are Japanese and seeing how I currently (I state currently, my goal is to learn Japanese) don't speak or read Japanese I'm not able to fully enjoy them. But they are artbooks, you're looking at it for the art.

Don't worry though, I'm still going to continue writing reviews and will get them placed as soon as possible so I hope that y'all will bear with me during my low point (even though my reviews are crap regardless!)

Your reviews aren't crap at all! I love reading them ^^ Life always gets in people's way at one time or another so just take your time, write again when it comes to you, and know that you have readers looking forward to them :)

Take a break and refresh your pallet! And hey maybe you could review the anime you are watching. Yes you are a manga blog but I don't think we will kick and scream if you wanted to review it and do a comparison! Might help refresh you, too.

Don't stay away for too long!

P.S. Are you going to NYCC?

@Lissa and Narutaki

Thank you so much for you kind words and understanding. I am starting to get some words and thoughts together so I'm glad that you'll continue to stick with me!

Sadly, I won't be headed to NYCC. I would love to but I start a new job at the end of the month and I won't be able to take time off. Chances are the only convention I'm probably going to try to attend is YaoiCon. I live closer to the West Coast so it's easier for me to attend things on this side of the country.
