I&#39;m a Yamada Yugi fan and was curious to see how the DMG release would turn out but have been put off purchasing by the cost of the digital copy. I&#39;m disappointed, though not surprised considering DMP&#39;s usual slack standards, to hear that this DMG version is inferior to the scanlation. Well, if they ever release it in print I&#39;ll still buy it since I want to own the book but I&#39;ll certainly be extremely wary of all DMG offerings from now on. I feel that you hit the nail on the head. I also compared this sad excuse of a release to the scanlator&#39;s and what a huge difference. It doesn&#39;t really put a lot of faith in whatever else DMG will churn out. It&#39;s only been 2 releases so far and I still see no torrent of releases as advertised.<br /><br />In regards to the double standard, I think it&#39;s par for the course. DMG is not going to stop this woman from reviewing their own titles because it&#39;s in their best interest that she continues to do so. Using disclaimers is not enough. She has to stop reviewing DMP titles. But guess what? All the woman seems to read is yaoi and that really narrows down what she can review. I don&#39;t see her stopping what she&#39;s doing. Sensei is very protective of her work and because of that, that is why <b>The Crimson Spell</b> by Kitty Media looks so much better than the rest of their releases. <br /><br />I admit that I am one of the fans who was really disappointed by BeBeautiful&#39;s quality. When I pay $15.99 for a book I at least expect some quality. I discovered that some books were very poorly done. I&#39;ve seen scanlations done better than some of their titles. Yes they were one of the first ones on the scene and had such heavy hitters like Nitta, Yamane, and Kodaka. But with Juné rescuing both <b>Finder</b> and <b>Kizuna</b> hopefully we can forget that they ever exsisted. The first volume of Il Gatto Sul G is a bit hard to find. It&#39;s out of print and I actually purchased my copy through a reseller at Amazon, so there&#39;s always that route. Have no fear though because the first volume is available at Digital Manga&#39;s own eManga. Their reader is easy to use. You also have the option of purchasing a Kindle copy at Amazon. The nice thing about Kindle books is you don&#39;t have to have a Kindle to read them. Amazon offers free download application for a variety of different devices ie PC, iPhone or iPod touch, Android phones, etc. They have a list. Thankfully volumes two and three are still in print and can be purchased in a variety of locations. I&#39;ve heard that Robert&#39;s Anime Corner (http://www.animecornerstore.com/) is a great place to check out if you are looking for harder to find manga.<br /><br />Good luck!
